Well it was a difficult start to the season at Leasowe Golf Club, firstly the communication from the club was poor from the off, then with no official caterer at the club, A soggy sausage sandwich and mediocre coffee set us up for a rather chilly but dry game of golf, Some members fared better than others. New member Dean Shannon romped home with 38 points and a large handicap reduction, second place was taken by Steve Hazlehurst (Boooo!!) and third without a handicap reduction Jaz Singh. Whilst Jaz was on the podium he also took the longest drive, with Cleve McCurdy leaving to the last minute to take the nearest the pin. No guests were present and no Two's were to be seen so another roll over to our next event at.....
